🏓 Competition Format
Team Composition: Each team must consist of 3 registered players, with the option to nominate 1 reserve player. Only players listed on the registration form are eligible to participate; unregistered players are not permitted to compete.
Eligibility: Players' Ratings Central Rating as at 27 May 2025 will be used to determine The team's average Ratings Central Rating for each match must be between 1000 and 1100.
Match Schedule: Each team will typically play one match per week, scheduled to start at 6:30 PM on Mondays or Wednesdays.
Match Structure: Each match comprises 4 singles matches and 1 doubles match.
Determining the Winner: The team that wins the majority of matches on the night will be declared the winner of that round.
Rating Updates: All match results will be submitted to Ratings Central for rating updates.
Minimum Team Requirement: The competition will commence only when at least 5 teams have registered.
💰 Fees & Prizes
Participation Fees: For annual or semi-annual payment members, the fee is AUD 10 per night; for other members, it's AUD 15 per night. Fees must be prepaid before the competition begins.
Prizes:
Champion Team Members: Each will receive a Yasaka Rakza7 table tennis rubber.
📋 Competition Rules
Organization: The Top Spins management team will oversee the competition's overall operation to ensure fairness and friendliness.
Rules Compliance: The competition will adhere to the rules and regulations of the International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF).
Substitute Players: Each team may designate one substitute player, whose name must be provided at the time of registration. Players not registered in advance are not allowed to participate.
Rating Disputes: The Top Spins management reserves the right to determine the ratings for players without a Ratings Central rating or in cases of disputes; their decision is final.
Umpire Provision: Each team is required to provide an umpire for their matches. The umpire's decisions are final.
Registration Deadline: 8 June 2025.
Competition Start Date: The competition will officially begin on 16 June 2025, with the detailed match schedule to be announced on 11 June 2025.
Registration Method: All teams must register in person at the Top Spins Table Tennis Club.
# Failure to observe these rules may render the relevant games being forfeited.
